With regards to this last point, IMO it's very important to note that if you don't play MP or seek to find the best strategies/explore the utmost depth of the game, then you won't notice any glaring flaws. More similar to Civ in that there's more depth/focus on empire building Relatively popular so you can more easily convince friends to play I have a few dozen hours in EL and about ten times that in AoW3.
